A bride dies several hours after her wedding in a car crash. The bride groom, his parents, and the driver of the other car survived. Reason of the crash: the 45-year-old father of the bride groom has fallen asleep at the wheel, and crashed into a another car from the opposite direction.

The 22-year-old bride was still alive when the rescue forces found her on the crash site. She died later in the hospital of Zell am See. None of the drivers was drunk. The bride groom, who was sitting next to her, survived the crash with not even one single injury.

The trial against Josef Fritzl was one of the biggest in Austrian history. Fritzls hometown Amstetten is quite glad about it that the media attention declined. But one thing is still there. The house of Josef Fritzl, and the cellar of his incredible crime. It should be sold, but it’s not possible to find a buyer.

Nobody wants to buy the house of Josef Fritzl. The building is full of nooks and crannies, the cellar is still governmental locked, and the criminal history significant. A purchase could be more expensive as just the buying price. It might be possible that the authorities demand extensive renovations.

If it’s not possible to find a buyer in the near future, the building might be demolished and the cellar buried. The former owner Josef Fritzl is imprisoned in the prison of Stein directly next to the Danube river. The administration confirmed that not even one person has visited him since his imprisonment. His crime was too monstrous.

A 79 year-old woman was killed by her two rottweilers. The rottweilers were on duty as watch dogs.

The reason for the deadly attack is not clear. There was only one single incident in 2006. Usually the two dogs were quite calm and obedient. The victim was found by a 30-year-old woman who wanted to feed the rottweilers. She has seen the dead woman laying bathed in blood in her garden.

The 79-year-old woman was running a roofer enterprise with her 55-year-old son. Yesterday between 6:00pm and 7:00pm happened the infelicity, told the police. The guilty dogs were already punished with a lethal injection.

An emotional card game in a pub in the center of the province of Lower Austria caused two dead persons this week. A 76-year-old man knocked down his 67-year-old friend with a chair. When the victim died because of his injuries, the 76-year-old decided to hang himself.

Reason of the disagreement was the question if the next drink should be beer or wine, and who should pay the last glass of wine with the price of 1,20 Euro. The victim sustained a basal skull fracture and died in the hospital. When the 76-year-old man heard that, he decided to end his days. Both men were playing cards since 20 years on a regular basis.

This years indoor football tournament in Salzburg was overshadowed with a beer cup throw. One supporter of the club called “Austria Salzburg” threw a half-full beer cup on the parquet. The reactions were emotional superheated.

Some people demand to exclude Austria Salzburg from the tournament in the future. The organizer don’t want to hear that. “We need Austria Salzburg like all the other clubs for our tournament”, explains chief organizer Fritz Pammer from the club called “UFC Salzburg”.

But a problem with such a declaration would be the situation if all the other clubs are not interested anymore to play a tournament with Austria Salzburg. “Then we have to think about it”, says Mr. Pammer.

Austria Salzburgs manager Gerhard Stöger is very sorry about occurrences, but underlines that nobody was hurt. He also declared that Austria Salzburg could quit a participation for next years tournament.

The Austria Salzburg supporter who threw the beer cup on the parquet was arrested by the police.

One seriously injured 39-year-old man was the result of a muffed Christmas party which was organized by a tinsmith enterprise in Carinthias capital Klagenfurt.

The guests were so unhappy and disappointed about the boring event that they started to riot and a rude free for all. One man was hit by fists of his opponent several times and had to be brought to hospital. Only the police was able to calm down the flared tempers.

All Christmas fighters were burdened with complaints. They have to expect harsh punishments. Violence during a Christmas party is heinous. A Christmas party has to be peaceful.

A 39-year-old wood carver carved a huge devil on the wooden door of a motorcycle club. It was the last order in his life. He died on his way home after a car accident.

The 34-year-old spent the whole day making a huge devils face into the wooden door of a motorcycle club. After the work a taxi was already on the way to pick him up, but he dediced to go with one of the motorcycle guys, who promised to bring him home. A mistake. The car veered off the street and gone head over heels several times.

The wooden carver did not wear a seat belt and was flung out of the car. He died on the crash site. The devil in the wooden door was the last work in his life.

The organiser of a traditional festival in the south of Upper Austria had the devilish idea to “burn a witch” to spice up his event. At the last moment disgusted citizens and residents were able to prevent such an outrageous spectacle.

The “burning of a witch” during the event was even advertised on placards and posters. 400 years ago many women were killed that way in the name of the church. Those crimes count to one of the darkest chapters in Austrian history. A female author who lives in the region startled the general public and confirmed that such kind of activities have nothing to do with customs, but rather with abuse.

The organiser defends itself that he just used an “unfortunate word choice in his advertisments” and that he had nothing evil in his mind. He also said that “he had no idea that his plan of burning a witch could create such extreme reactions.”

Good or evil. The event is going to be realized without poor witches in blasts. The female author from the region called it a “tremendous ignorance”, just to think about such a plan.
