Freedom party leader Heinz Christian Strache was criticized by the orange party “BZÖ”, which is also known as the “Alliance For The Future Of Austria”, because he is going to spend a two weeks holiday with his children instead of joining “inflationary extraordinary meetings in parliament” during summer time.

Strache declared in his latest press release that “this shows the attitude of the orange party “BZÖ” in an impressively way which is very inimical to the family.”

Josef Bucher, the chairman of the orange party “BZÖ”, wanted to have a series of extraordinary meetings to force the government to a return to truth and a compliance of the constitution. Bucher also demands the general abolishment of the parliamentary summer break and a continuous work of all parliamentarians.

Of course Heinz Christian Strache, who wants to go on holiday with his children, can’t agree in such ideas. But also Josef Bucher has a family. He is married and has three sons. But it seems he don’t care much about holidays in summer.

Austrias Freedom party has found a new enemy image. It’s Google. The constitutional spokesman of the party labels the latest statements of the Google boss as “plain and simple outrageous.”

Google boss Eric Schmidt said that his company is not responsible for data privacy. He also confirmed that “if you don’t want that someone knowns something you have done, you shouldn’t do it anyway.” The politican of the Freedom party can’t accept that.

“Google wants to earn money at the expense of its users, but tries to pass on the responsibility at the weakest link in the internet”, he thinks. The Freedom party man wants Google to take more responsibility in all cases of protection and safety, and promise to keep on the fight for the defense of the private sphere of all Austrians.

A 41-year-old man from Vienna went insane because his TV set was broken. He rushed into the next electric shop, attacked the salesman, and took a TV set in the shop without paying. The desperate man escaped through the emergency exit.

But the TV set bandit was not able to go far. The TV set was too heavy, and the shop detective had no problem to stop him and call the police. During the interrogation he explained that his TV set was broken at home, and that there is a human right to receive a new one for free.

The US Ministry of Defense wants to have the technology of Vorarlbergs radio frequency identification provider Identec. A big order confirms the demand and marks a milestone in the history of the Austrian company.

The US-Americans are excited about the possibility to track and trace vehiculars, freight, and even containers. The chief executive officer of the conpany rejoices that now with such a contract his enterprise “plays in the first league of the leading radio frequency identification providers.” “The order from the Pentagon is a very good recommendation for the private industry and the public sector”, he says.

Pentagons requirement has a total volume of 428,6 million US Dollar. The first order was transacted just several days ago and had a value of nine million US Dollar.

Austrias Broadcasting Corporation reports that girls and women with a religious preference to the Islam have massive problems in Austria. Few days ago a muslim schoolgirl was attacked by two schoolmates, which tried to set her on fire with a lighter.

Now Muslim associations in Austria claim that such kind of encroachments are no individual cases. Muslim women have to suffer sneer and discriminations day in, day out. Roswitha Al Hussein is the spokeswoman of the female Muslim club called “SOMM”. She said that the case of the Muslim schoolgirl in Styria is extraordinary savage, but also psychological violations, which Muslim women in Austria has to accept day by day, are also quite bad.

“Teachers think that such things are just a dalliance but it’s bullying”, said Mrs Al Hussein. The spokeswoman claims that there is not enough support for Muslim schoogirls from teachers. “Sometimes nasty boys pull on the headscarfs of the girls, and tell them that they should remove it”, said Al Hussein.

Especially in times of election campaigns the situation is becoming worser. People think that it’s socially acceptable to criticize Muslims in public, explains Roswitha Al Hussein. She hopes that there is more support for Muslims in the future.

The two girls who wanted to set their Muslim classmate on fire were sent off from school. They did not wanted to apologize for their offence.

The horrible result of the Socialdemocrats in Vorarlberg is still the one of the main issues in the Austrian medias. The chancellor and Socialdemocratic leader Werner Faymann was asked about the consequences after such an electoral disaster.

He answered that he and his party fellows won’t avoid any conflict in the future. Faymann also thinks that “the isolation of the Freedom party is a policy which is good.” He promised that the Socialdemocratic party won’t copy the ideas of the Freedom party, but tries to find the right solutions for current problems.

Werner Faymann was also talking about being more “edgy”. Especially in the educational policy. Faymann: “I don’t want to create conflicts, but if there is a conflict we should not run away.” Not such a long time ago Faymann was smiling from election posters promoting the cuddle policy with the Peoples party. “Quarreled enough (genug gestritten)” was the message to his voters (picture). Now it seems he smiled enough. Time to quarrel again.

Austrias daily newspaper “Heute” reports about a totally drunken policeman on duty in Vienna. According to the newspaper, the man was one of the postmen who turned to a policeman some weeks ago.

At the beginning his colleagues even tried to accept his dubious condition, but when he continued drinking on duty, they decided to send him home. The new policeman asked if it’s allowed to go outside and gasp for breath. In fact he went to the next pub and enjoyed 8 additional glasses of wine in serveral minutes.

Now the man was removed from the police and works as a postman again. Austrias Interior minister Maria Fekter (Peoples Party) said that it’s a shame what happened, but comfirmed that the man was inside his qualifying period anyway. “Nothing happened, and we are going to continue our project making postmen to policemen.”

The chairman of the postmens staff council said to medias that it’s not so pleasant if it seems there are thousands of postmen in Austria who drink a bit too much during work. He confirmed that he is not going to accept one single drunken postman. “We have crystal clear rules”, he said.

The Socialdemocratic politican Josef Cap is unhappy about Austrias ministry of finance, which is occupied by the coalition partner of the Peoples Party. One article in the daily newspaper called “Österreich” illuminates the frame of mind of the legendary member from the Austrian Socialdemocratic Party.

Cap thinks that Austrias ministry of finance is full of abnegators. “One minister has started with the speculations, another one has continued, and the following one kept silent. The internal control has totally failed”, said Josef Cap.

Another thing which annoys the iron Socialdemocrat is the fact that his coalition partner does not fully answer parliamentary requests. Cap seems to be also quite angry about the statement of the former ÖBFA director Eder. He said that it was not clear how the money was invested. Cap: “It’s not possible not to know what I am buying. It’s not allowed to speculate with the tax payers money. There is a difference between base rate bank book and the Cayman Islands.

The background of the debate: Austrias ministry of finance lost a lot of tax money through risky speculations on the Cayman Islands.

The church council has found a new enemy in the Freedom Party. Leading members of the council are not happy about a certain election campaign slogan of the party for the EU election. The Freedom Party touts with the sentence: “Occident in Christian hand”.

“The Freedom Party is not allowed to capture our Christian religion”, was the comment of the church council about the slogan in a press release. Superintendent Helmut Nausner explains that every country is in Gods hands anyway. The president of the church council Herwig Sturm declared in the radio that the slogan “Occident in Christian hand” is an abuse of the Christian religion, and completely the wrong message.

Freedom Parties general secretary Herbert Kickl labeled the critics as “habitual voluntary extra task”. Kickl thinks that certain functionaries of the church council have serious problems to defend their own religion more self-confident and more offensive. The politican of the Freedom Party locates a “general apathy as the one and only content” in the church council.

Herbert Kickl confirmed that it’s not the final target of the Freedom Party to hide the danger of a creeping Islamification in Austria. “If some members of the church council prefer to close their eyes it’s not our business. The Freedom Party is not going to keep silence in that topic. We call a spade a spade”, added the general secretary in conclusion.

Last but not least some facts about AustriaNews.co.uk. From which countries are most of the visitors. Number One, what a surprise, Austria. The second place takes United States, and on the third is the United Kingdom.

Then we have Japan, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Italy, Finland, Germany, Turkey, Croatia, Netherlands, Canada, Hungary, Sweden, and Russia.

Only few visitors are from Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Australia, Greece, France, Portugal, Hong Kong, Singapore, Romania, South Africa, Philippines, Iceland, Slovakia, Guatemala, Mauritius, Malta, Ireland, Thailand, Norway, and India. Unfortunately no visitors in the past weeks from Liechtenstein, Andorra, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland, China, and the rest of the world.
