Barbara Rosenkranz wants to become Austrias next president
The 51-year-old married mother of 10 children runs for the next election to become Austrias Federal President. She is the candidate of the Freedom party, against the acting president of the Socialdemocrats Heinz Fischer.
Barbara Rosenkranz is also supported by Austrias biggest newspaper Kronen Zeitung. All other daily newspapers are not that excited about her. Austrias daily newspapers Kurier writes that Rosenkranz has no modest thinking, she is not responsible minded and not cosmopolitan either.
Greens and Socialdemocrats certify her a contiguity to Nationalsocialism. Indeed Rosenkranz confirmed in a TV interview that she wants a change of the Nationalsocialist activity ban in Austria. “I am a politican of the Freedom party and I want to fight for free speech in Austria”, she said.
Austrias weekly newspaper “NEWS” reports that the pastor of her home municipality claims she has also resigned from the church and none of her 10 children was baptized. Freedom party leader Heinz Christian Strache once called her “Holy Barbara”. The pastor was not excited about that, was written in the magazine.
The daily newspaper “Die Presse” wrote that Barbara Rosenkranz is the measuring instrument about the force of mobilization on Austrias right border. In contrast to Freedom party leader Heinz Christian Strache, Barbara Rosenkranz is not the candidate for young and cool disco visitors. Barbara Rosenkranz is a true ideologist, writes the newspaper.
