Gusenbauer moans about state election in Tirol
Austrias chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer (Socialdemocrats) is not excited about the result of the state election in Tirol.
“The result is a painful experience for our whole party”, he said in a first comment. The Socialdemocrats lost 10 percent, and crashed down to rank three by 15,64%.
A new party called “Fritz” received 18,3% of votes in its first election, which was quite a sensation. The charismatic leader of “Fritz” is Fritz Dinkhauser. He is a political rebel who left the Peoples Party, and created his own party. Now he was able to climb the second rank in the very first election.
Alfred Gusenbauer promised that he will try to analyze the disastrous performance of the Socialdemocrats in Tirol. He also confirms that he understand the disappoinment of the Socialdemocratic vice minister president Hannes Gschwentner.
