I wonder if Elizabeth has doubts about her mother’s apparent ignorance of what was going on.
I just can’t believe that her mother never suspected what was going on in that dungeon and never investigating what her wierdo husband was up to spending so much time converting the cellar , after all it was no small job, he had to install washing machine, cookers , plumbing for bathroom and kitchen area, also supply electric power. And storing food there. The electricity and water bills must have been high ! As the strip lighting was probably on all the time.
Also Elizabeth’s mother knew of her husbands sordid serial rapes in the past, for which he spent time in prison, he was also know to the police. She knew he had a criminal record when they adopted Elizabeth’s children, and did not disclose his criminal records to the adoption agency. That is totally irresponsible of any mother allowing this sick monster to adopt children. She should be done for lies and deception.
Oh yes, you can bet your bottom dollar that stupid wife of his she knew exactly what was going on.

What if one day Elizabeth finds out her mother knew all along. oh my God, how much crueler can life get!

words aren’t enough to describe the pain Elizabeth and her kids have taken in their lives. Hell with state rules, keep the beast at the same place for rest of his life and fuck him thrice a week and when this evil finally dies mumyfy him to be kept in some public place where every passerby can spit on him till the end of world- perhaps ths is the minimum punishment.

Yes, I agree , I think that her children are the only reason she has survived for so long. From what I have read he would go down in the morning at 9am and most times stay all night. So not only was she and her children imprisioned but they were imprisoned with HIM also. He was retired , He had all day and with a subserviant/slave wife he could be gone down to the Cellar all night.The life of Elizabeth must of been total HELL. He does not deserve to live. I am surprized a riot has not erupted demanding his head and I dont mean the big one.. What a discrace to to the Human Race. He should be Executed Immediatly.!!

she probably kept going for the sake of her children, any mother would, a hole would be the most beneficial place for this man, so he can spend the rest of his life thinking about the lives he has destroyed by his own sick urges. and that now he is the most hated man on earth. he must be taught to know what that means, he must be kept alive to learn that no father can be forgiven for this, he must be made to feel the damage he has inflicted. we must study him to learn that this is unacceptable, and find out why he is the way he is, so that further monsters can be contained sooner.
