DANG…… One year for giving a box of chocolate and 15 yrs for locking up your daughter in the basement for 24 yrs and fathering 7 children with her.. They have some confused laws in Austria.

    This is a joke, right?

After reading about Austria this past week, I will NEVER travel there. Some things more important than looking at beautiful landscapes.

This is a joke right? What’s wrong with this picture? Showing, what the rest of the world percieves as an act of “kindness” there’s a severe punishment, brutally raping your daughter you get a slap on the wrist. Claire I’m with you on this one.

I think something is really wrong with the Austrian justice system, and society as a whole. The whole country should cover their head in shame.

You get one 1 in jail for giving a box of chocolate to your neighbour!. In fact I read some where that your neighbours will call the police on you if you do not sort your rubbish. But if you can rape your own child for 24 years, and keep her in adungeon, and father 7 children, then they will not call the police on you, you will get the best lawyer in the country, and you will at worse get 15 years, or free accomodation in pshyco hsopital.

May God forvive this country, and deliver every one of thei lawmakers from a twisted mind set, and a perveted value system. I do not ever want to go to Austria.

Get off your high horses folks. There are luny laws everywhere most of which are rarely enforced. This is a sensationalist headline that glosses over the details of what happened - if at all.

And what do you people think is going to happen to our incestuous mormon friends in Texas? How many of the perpetrators will face prison time and how many will plea bargain their way out? We sacrifice smaller monsters that are then allowed to roam our streets in order to jail the bigger monsters. So in effect there will be those that will never be prosecuted.

So before you high and mighty well-blinkered sheep complain about how other countries need to toughen their laws and hang their heads in shame, look in your own back yard.

I am beginning to wonder what kind of country Austria is after all - 10 months for rape but a year for chcolate -
no wonder there are so many crazies there - it starts with the government.
