Austrian hotel website Tiscover sold to German company
The famous Austrian hotel and holiday website “Tiscover”, was sold by “Tirol Werbung” to the German HRS company from Cologne.
HRS is a Hotel Reservation Service, operates world wide, and has more than 225.000 hotels in its database.
The federal president of Tirol is very happy about the deal. “We sold to the one who was ready to pay the highest sum”, he confirmed.
The buying price should stay a secret. Nobody wanted to talk about that. But it was “a very good price”, said the federal president.
The hotel booking website Tiscover has 48.000 hotels in Europe in its program. The website has 1,3 million hotel bookings in a year, and 410 million site views by 22 million visitors.
