austrian footballThe broke Austrian football club “SK Austria Kärnten” has received a credit in the value of 500.000 Euro.

The club has to use this money to improve its infrastructure. It’s not allowed to buy new players!

“The money comes from a man which want to remain nameless”, says the Minister President of Carinthia Jörg Haider.

But 500.000 Euro are not enough for the new football club, which was established last year, and bought the license for the Austrian Premiere League from the Upper Austrian club “FC Superfund”.

The manager of SK Austria Kärnten wants to have another 500.000 Euro. If nobody pays, he is threatening to sell the license of the club for the Austrian Premiere League.

The club from Austrias Southern province Carinthia is in a deep crisis. In spite of a brand new stylish football stadium, purchased license, as well as an expensive coach and players, the club is on the last place over the winter and has to expect relegation to a lower league.
