People from Burgenland are the most liberal donors in Austria

Who likes to donate most of the Austrians?
Austrias best donors are the people who are living in the most Eastern part of the country, on the border to Hungary and Slovakia.
This province is called “Burgenland“, and it’s the home of the people who are giving most of their money for charitable donations.
According to a survey of “Public Opinion” the older people are very motivated to donate.
On an average every single Austrian donates 86 Euro a year. Female give more than male. 74 percent of them donate consistently, men only 62 percent.
In the past 12 months all Austrians together donated a total sum of 342 million Euro.
