Proud car drivers cause a rumble on the street
Seven persons, three women among them, and two children were fighting on the street in the Upper Austrian capital of Linz.
The reason was absurd. Two cars met on the narrow road of the Edmund-Aigner-Strasse. Both cars could not pass by. One of the cars had to drive back to a broader spot of the road.
Both of the car drivers were too proud to use their reverse gear, and expected the other one to move. So they were sitting against each other face to face in their cars for a little while.
After some time of waiting on the narrow road, a 31-year-old man jumped out of his car and went to the other. The co-driver of the other car also got out, and the fight could begin. Quickly the other car inmates were out of their cars and joined the two fighting men. Later also people who were going for a walk and other car drivers joined the fight.
Only when the police arrived, the fighting crowd was able to calm down. All people except the two children were noticed by the police.
