Tirolean village Sölden wants more homosexual tourists

The Tirolean holiday resort Sölden is searching for new ranks of tourists. From Saturday on a festival called “Gay Showhappening” will be hosted in the village for one week, which is dedicated to homosexual men.
The “Gay Showhappening” is going to take place for the 8th time. “We made very good experiences with homosexual tourists. They spend a lot of money.”, says the marketing boss of the Ötztal valley.
Sölden wants to become a famous holiday resort for homosexuals like Aspen in the United States. Such a festival should help to accomplish the goal.
