Austrian voodoo priest has to go to jail for 6 years
Voodoo magic is not accepted in Austria. This was the consequence of yesterdays verdict of guilty in the Upper Austrian voodoo trial.
The 61-year-old Austrian voodoo priest has to go to jail for 6 years. His 51-year-old wife was sentenced to five years in jail. Both were celebrating voodoo parties in their house.
The voodoo couple invited to their meetings by advertisements in newspapers. One witness had to pay 2.000 EUR for participating in four voodoo parties. “My nerves were at the finish”, he said in the court.
The voodoo priest had problems with his memory during the trial. His defender delcared nobody was forced to participate in the meetings. The “voodoo victims” have to blame themselfes, he confirmed.
