Today is the opening of the VenusMed-centre in the shopping mall “Lugner City”, located in the heart of Vienna. VenusMed is the first sex-centre which offers sexual medical treatments in a shopping mall in Austria.

“We care for the healthy effect of a well-balanced sexual life”, says the manager of the VenusMed Brigitte Moshammer-Peter.

“One diagnosis in one place”, is the slogan of the new sex-centre. Psychotherapists, gynaecologists, urologist and if necessary many other experts and specialits will offer their services in VenusMed.

The location in the shopping mall was chosen deliberated. “A low-threshold access for the sex-centre was very important”, confirms gynaecologist Wolfgang Grin, “also during shopping“.

VenusMed is not undisputed. Also abortions should be possible. A service which already caused a lot of anger and protest among the Viennese population.
